Thomas Tuchel may be facing a final match against Borussia Dortmund. BVB coach Lucien Favre regrets that the game is turning into a ghost game.

In the first leg against PSG, BVB had established a good starting position for reaching the next round. With a 2-1 victory behind them, the team will travel to Paris for a reunion.

However, Borussia is expecting a ghost game there. In order to stop the spread of the corona virus, the Paris police prefecture had decided that the match would be played in front of empty stands.

Favre regrets the ghost game
BVB trainer Lucien Favre goes with great regret to the ghost game in Paris’ Prinzenpark . “I once had a game with Servette Geneva against Sion without an audience. That’s very funny,” said the Swiss on Tuesday before leaving for France.

On 19 April 2001, Favre had scored a 1-1 draw with Servette at FC Sion. This result would be enough for BVB to fight for a place in the quarter-finals on Wednesday evening.

Apart from captain Marco Reus (muscle injury) and Thomas Delaney, Borussia is unlikely to suffer any losses.

PSG coach Tuchel under pressure
In Paris, coach Thomas Tuchel may be threatened with the end of the season if he fails against his old club. PSG may dominate national competitions almost at will, but for Qatari club owners this is no longer enough – winning the Champions League is the ultimate goal.

Last year, the star-studded Brazilian side Neymar’s side failed early on after a 2-0 first leg win at Manchester United.
