Antonio Rüdiger has become a father for the first time.
The German international in the service of the English top club FC Chelsea told his fans the good news on his social media channels.
“The feeling of having become a father for the first time is incredible,” wrote the 26-year-old and added: “Welcome to the world, Djamal Sahr Rüdiger”.
The defender, who will be meeting FC Bayern on Tuesday with the blues in the Champions League, sent the hashtags: #mySon #myWorld #myPriority #AlwaysBelieve.
Rüdiger has been married to his wife Laura since the summer.
