In the Premier League, Leicester City consolidates a Champion League position against West Ham United. Mourinhos Spurs can also cheer against Norwich City.

Manchester United have suffered a 2-0 (0-1) home defeat to Burnley FC in the Premier League. The Red Devils are now in fifth place with 34 points.

Chris Wood gave outsiders Burnley the lead in the 39th minute. Without Marcus Rashford, who was absent due to a back injury, United suffered their next setback after losing 2-0 to Liverpool FC, and missed out on reducing the gap to Chelsea FC (40 points). Jay Rodriguez scored with a left-footed shot (56.) under the crossbar to score the final goal.

Former champions Leicester City, however, remain on course for the Champions League in the Premier League.
