Roberto Firmino has brought team manager Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool FC a further step closer to the longed-for Premier League title win.
The Brazilian scored the winning goal at the end of the 24th matchday in a 2-1 (1-0) win at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the final phase (84th).
“You just have to find a way to win and have someone who makes the perfect decision, and that was Bobby again,” Klopp praised the BBC Firmino after his winning goal.
For Liverpool it was already the 14th league win in a row. The Klopp club is now 16 points ahead of defending champions Manchester City by one game less.
The Reds are now undefeated in 40 league games over the entire season.
Nevertheless, Klopp does not want to hear about an early decision in the championship fight. “I could puke when I hear that,” the German coach at BT was clear, because: “You can lose six games.”
