Real Madrid’s summer newcomer Eden Hazard has spoken openly about his pre-season weight problems.
“When I’m on holiday, I’m on holiday,” the Belgian admitted to Sport/Foot Magazine. “I gained five kilos this summer. I’m someone who gains very quickly, but I can lose it quickly too.”
Hazard struggles with weight fluctuations
Even during his time in France as a junior player, he had already dealt with weight fluctuations. “When I was 18 in Lille, I weighed 72 or 73 kilos, then 75 when I was building muscle, and on a bad day it was 77.”
