Curious scene after the BVB defeat at ManCity: Erling Haaland is asked for a signature in the player tunnel by a line judge.

Exceptionally, this time, Erling Haaland’s scene was not a spectacular goal, which made the biggest headlines in Borussia Dortmund’s 1-2 defeat at Manchester City.

Immediately after the first leg in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, the young forward in the player tunnel on his way into the cabin was asked by line judge Octavian Sovre to give him an autograph.

Haaland consented, and even signed twice, once on the yellow, once on the red card of the Romanian impartial. This scene was captured by British TV channel BT Sports.

Line judge Sovre also involved in racism scandal

TV expert Owen Hargreaves then spoke in the broadcaster’s coverage. The former Bavarian player criticized the action of the line judge. “He had a difficult first half, did a lot of things wrong. Anyone can be a fan, but you shouldn’t do that in front of the other players. That’s not right, “Hargreaves said.

Sovre is the same assistant who was involved in the racist incident at the Paris Saint-Germain/Basaksehir scandal on 8 December, after which the match was abandoned.
