After FC Chelsea’s failure in the Champions League against FC Bayern, Antonio Ruediger is on summer vacation after a strenuous season. However, this could become turbulent.
The Spanish sports paper Mundo Deportivo reports that no one less than English champions Liverpool FC are interested in the German international. Liverpool could want to use Rüdiger to compensate for the departure of Dejan Lovren (Zenit St. Petersburg).
Rüdiger still has a contract with the Blues until 2022 and was happy in London. The prospect of playing under Jürgen Klopp, however, should be very interesting for the central defender.
