Martin Odegaard is so convincing in his loan to Real Sociedad that Real Madrid is considering an early return of the Norwegian. But what does the Norwegian want?

The Wonderfully talented child has grown up.

It took longer than many had hoped, but at 21 years of age Martin Odegaard has finally arrived in the haze of top European football.

Hardly any other up-and-coming footballer has received such advance praise in the past as the Norwegian, who made his debut in Norway’s first division at the age of 15 and even made his A international debut at the same age.

Half of Europe was after the highly talented teenager before Real Madrid signed him up shortly after his 16th birthday in early 2015.

But the hype seemed to be holding back the attacking midfielder. Although he became the youngest player in Real’s club history, it was still a league match for the pros, and he also played in the cup. The rest of the time he played for the second representation of the Royal Family.

Odegaard starts in Arnhem through

Two years after his engagement, the Real chapter was history again for Odegaard for the time being; he was to collect playing practice in the Dutch Eredivisie on a loan basis. Initially he played for SC Heerenveen, but in the 2018/19 season he attracted attention with Vitesse Arnhem with eight goals and eleven assists.
