The FC Bayern already starts training again. The big goal is the triple, the schedule until the Champions League is bursting at the seams.
After 13 days of vacation, the professionals of FC Bayern are already back on Säbener Straße this Monday. After all, coach Hansi Flick’s team has big goals, the Bavarians are not satisfied with the national double.
The top priority is therefore the best possible preparation for the Champions League.
The Mission Triple begins for the Munich team on 8 August with the return match against Chelsea FC. The German record champions had won the first leg 3-0 in London before the Corona break.
Corona test via drive-in
The first series of corona tests is scheduled for Monday. And in an unusual way. FC Bayern is inviting its players to a drive-in. One by one, the professionals will drive their cars into the underground car park on Säbener Strasse to undergo a test. Afterwards, they go home again.
On Tuesday and Wednesday there is a unit that has become familiar from the Corona break: cyber training.
From July 23rd, small groups will work on the training grounds again, and on July 26th, the start of the team training is planned – basically, the preparation is structured analogous to the model during the Corona break.
“I’m looking forward to preparing with the team for the next goal after the holidays – this is of course the final of the Champions League,” Flick had already said two days after winning the DFB Cup.
The summer transfers Leroy Sané, Alexander Nübel and Tanguy Nianzou are also part of this preparation, Sané has even been training with Niklas Süle on Säbener Straße since last Monday. However, the three newcomers are not eligible to play in the top division.
