The transfer from Jude Bellingham to Borussia Dortmund is perfect. The English talent signs a long-term contract with BVB.
Borussia Dortmund has signed Jude Bellingham.
BVB officially announced the transfer on Monday morning and declared that the English talent had signed a long-term contract.
The 17-year-old will transfer from Birmingham City to the German runner-up and “despite his age, he is immediately scheduled for the professional squad”.
“Jude Bellingham has decided to join BVB with conviction and, of course, with the sporting perspective we have shown him in the first place,” explained Sports Director Michael Zorc.
Dortmund sees Bellingham “as a reinforcement for our professional squad right away, but will of course give him the time he needs to get used to the higher level first.
The midfielder faces the end of a long season at Birmingham City in the English Championship, where he has scored four goals and three assists in 40 matches so far.
“I’m incredibly excited about joining one of the biggest clubs in Europe. BVB’s path, but especially how they help young players to become better, has made the decision very easy for me personally and my whole family,” said the BVB newcomer.
