Due to the class retention of the Bremen team, Leonardo Bittencourt and Ömer Toprak are now also firmly bound to the club. The loan from Davie Selke is extended.

After Werder Bremen made it clear on Monday evening in a thrilling match against 1 FC Heidenheim that they will stay in class, the future of two loan players has now been clarified.

Leonardo Bittencourt and Ömer Toprak will probably stay on the Weser for the time being.

Werder must now dig deep into their pockets because of the contractually bound obligation to buy. According to kicker, the Werder players will have to transfer around four million euros to Borussia Dortmund for Toprak’s services – TSG Hoffenheim will collect seven million euros for Bittencourt.

In addition, the loan business with Davie Selke and Hertha BSC Berlin is automatically extended until 2021.

If Werder holds the class next season, a binding purchase commitment in the double-digit million range will also apply to this player.
