The public prosecutor’s office in Madrid has initiated proceedings for tax evasion against the 61-year-old Italian.
Spanish media are unanimous in reporting this. Ancelotti is said to have evaded about one million euros in taxes during his time as coach of the Spanish soccer record champion Real Madrid.
Ancelotti had led FC Bayern to the championship title in 2017. After his engagement with SSC Naples, he is currently team manager of FC Everton, defied FC Liverpool 0-0 in the city derby on Sunday.
