FC Bayern crowns itself prematurely as German Champion in Bremen and celebrates exuberantly behind the scenes. SPORT1 shows the Munich Ghost Master Protocol.

Tuesday night at 10:24 p.m. it was done.

FC Bayern became the first Corona champion in Bundesliga history with a hard-fought 1-0 victory at SV Werder Bremen.

It is true that the public cheering of the FCB stars for the eighth consecutive championship was limited. In the evening at the hotel we celebrated a little bit in accordance with the Corona rules.

We were there in Bremen and show the Ghost Master Protocol.

20.28: Thomas Müller is one of the first Bayern players to enter the lush green of the Weser Stadium and shouts: “Let’s go, men”. Shortly before the kick-off, Leon Goretzka pushes his teammates with the words “Come on, boys”.

22.18: Manuel Neuer parries a header from Yuya Osako with a world-class reflex. David Alaba jumps for joy at his captain’s chest.

Approx. 23.30: At the “Atlantic Grand Hotel”, about three kilometres from the Weser Stadium, the team celebrates the 30th championship in the club’s history. Some players treat themselves to a cold beer, there are also several water bottles on the tables. Veal escalope with french fries and lemon is highly sought after at the buffet. Coach Flick had already announced in the stadium that he would like to drink a bourbon with “Diet Coke” for the love of co-coach Herrmann Gerland.

During the mini celebration the minimum distance of 1.50 meters is observed, tables are placed far away from each other. In a speech, Flick congratulates the team again on the championship, but focuses directly on the cup final on July 4 and the Champions League in August.

According to information, the celebration ends around 5 am, and several players say goodbye much earlier.

After a free Wednesday, the Champion Bavarians will return to training on Thursday, as two title parties are still to follow.
