The Spanish first division club Real Mallorca has been sentenced by the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to a fine of 301 euros for the speeding incident during the league match against FC Barcelona on Saturday (0-4). This was announced by the association on Monday.
In the 52nd minute the speedster had run in the actually deserted stadium with an Argentina jersey of Lionel Messi towards his idol.
“It was my dream to have a photo with Lionel Messi and meet him,” the young fan told Radio Cope. The association had already initiated proceedings against the man on Sunday.
The Spanish La Liga had resumed its playing operations last weekend. However, as in the Bundesliga, the matches are played in front of empty ranks.
