Led by team manager Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool FC has thanked the heroes of the Corona crisis worldwide for their sacrificial work.
“I, the staff and all the players of the LFC would like to take this opportunity to send a message of thanks to all those incredible healthcare workers out there,” said Klopp, who opened the video message.
“It’s incredible what you are doing,” Klopp continued, “On behalf of all of the LFC, I would like to say thank you.”
He repeated this in German in the message, which was otherwise in English.
