Paul Pogba hears a curious statistic about his points earnings at Manchester United – and suddenly recommends his coach put him on the bench.

Since the beginning of April Paul Pogba has been fit again after his thigh injury and shows ever better performances on the court.

Now, however, a curious statistic has been presented to the 28-year-old: Canal+ found that United scores only 1.9 points per game with Pogba in the starting eleven, while without him they score an average of 2.2 points per game.

Pogba would put herself on bench
The world champion took this as an opportunity to give his coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer joking advice: “Then you have to put me on the bench! I hadn’t seen those stats. If the team performed better without me, I would absolutely understand if the coach put me on the bench.”

However, the French midfielder can also gain something positive from the statistics: it is definitely a good challenge for him. “I hope the statistics are spinning. I hope they will win more with me than without me, “says Pogba.

He can already take the first step on Thursday when the Europa League plays back against AS Rome.
