The duel for the Champions League places between Borussia Dortmund Eintracht Frankfurt is at the same time the direct encounter between the two super-circlers Erling Haaland and André Silva.
With 21 Bundesliga goals each, Dortmund’s Haaland and Frankfurt’s Silva are right behind Robert Lewandowski, who has a firm eye on the Müller record.
For the sake of completeness, both the BVB forward and the eagle bearer have prepared five goals so far in this season. But primarily because of their own goals, Haaland and Silva have an immense value for their respective team.
Haaland is the most efficient Bundesliga striker
While the Norwegian scored almost 39 percent of all BVB league goals, the Portuguese scored 40 percent of all goals at Eintracht. These values are only topped by Bavaria’s Lewandowski.
Haaland’s talent lies ahead of the box in its outstanding efficiency. “He has an incredible goalscoring instinct, has a high pace and plays very team work,” commented former BVB striker Stéphane Chapuisat in an interview.
