FC Bayern gets away with a glimpse with their opponent in the eighteenth round, Hasan Salihamidzic warns anyway.

Julian Nagelsmann has to compete with Jürgen Klopp, Marco Rose with Pep Guardiola – the draw of the quarter-finals in the Champions League has given the Bundesliga players spicy coaching duels with decent pepper.

While RB Leipzig face tough German-English matches against Liverpool and Borussia Mönchengladbach face tough German-English matches against Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and defending champions FC Bayern have caught it a little easier.

BVB then meets FC Sevilla with his new coach Edin Terzic. The Bavarians are confronted with Dortmund’s opponent Lazio Rome.

Salihamidzic warns: “Beautiful chunk”
Hansi Flick (Trainer Bayern Munich): “We are satisfied with the draw. It is not easy to play against Italian teams. For Miro it is of course a special game, we are happy for him. It’s going to be an exciting duel. We saw the games in the group stage and were able to get a first picture.”

Hasan Salihamidzic (Sports Director Bavaria Munich): ” It’s always nice to travel to Rome. We look forward to the games. This is an unpleasant opponent, as we saw against Dortmund in the group phase. It’s always unpleasant against the Italian teams. These are quite nice chunks that the German teams got.”

Miroslav Klose (assistant coach FC Bayern): ” Many people from Rome have already called in. I’m incredibly happy, it was of course my opponent of choice. I associate a lot with this club and this city. It is a dangerous team with the 5-3-2 system under Inzaghi, who was my coach for a short time. You have a bulwark, it won’t be an easy task. We will analyse this well and draw our conclusions.”
