Jamal Musiala impresses RB coach Nagelsmann, other young players of FC Bayern also play in the spotlight. SPORT1 introduces Bavaria’s mega talents.

In the wild 3-3 against RB Leipzig he had done it again, this Jamal Musiala. Once again, FC Bayern’s 17-year-old Joker caught his heart, sinking the ball to his now third Bundesliga goal – and subsequently gaining a lot of praise from his opponent.

“Musiala is a very great talent. Bavaria has bought some of these, “Julian Nagelsmann said after a whistle about the shooting star who moved from Chelsea youth to Munich in summer 2019.

“I have always stressed that they also make some good decisions in the next generation,” added the RB coach. “They have also signed a few good Hoffenheim players, who will surely come out on top – whether with Bavaria or with other Bundesliga players.”

Youth researches – not least the outstanding work of the record champion on his own campus makes it possible: In fact, several promising youngsters are in the starting holes there to recommend themselves like top jewel Musiala (seven appearances at 210 minutes, once in the starting eleven) for the triple winner around coach Hansi Flick.

Bright Arrey Mbi (17 years / Defense):

Another unexpected starter after Musiala last in the 1-1 at Atlético Madrid: Arrey-Mbi, who played four times in the 3rd division for the second team of Bavaria this season, replaced Musiala as now the youngest Bavarian player in the Champions League when he entered the league at the age of 17 and 250 days.

According to Flick, the teenager, who appeared as a left-back in the five-chain (instead of inside as usual) and how Musiala got off the blues last summer, is considered a “physically strong player” who has a good speed.

Joshua Kimmich recently said of one of the greatest defender talents in Europe: “Bright is already a beast.”Arrey-Mbi was born as the son of Cameroonian parents in Kaarst, North Rhine-Westphalia.
