afal Gikiewicz from FC Augsburg occupy the matches after the whistle so much that he has a sleeping problem. The Keeper is a

night owl. On match days, goalkeeper Rafal Gikiewicz often becomes a night owl from the German football league FC Augsburg.

“I usually don’t go to bed before 3: 00 or 3: 30 after a game,” the 33-year-old told the Augsburg general.

The ritual the evening after a game is always similar, reported the Pole: “My wife goes to sleep with the children and I watch the whole game again in peace.” If that’s not enough, go to the console.

“After that, I sometimes play a few games of Fifa 21. I play in Division 3, so I’m not that bad at all,” says Gikiewicz: “After that, the emotions of the Bundesliga game are out, and I can fall

asleep.” The goalkeeper came to Augsburg in the summer after two years at Union Berlin and is a regular goalkeeper there. So far, the Pole has not missed a minute for his new club in the Bundesliga and has only conceded seven goals in six games.

Gikiewicz is a reason for the good start of FC Augsburg with already ten points.
