Leroy Sané returns to team training at FC Bayern. The last hurdle on the way into the squad is taken before the concord game. Nothing stands in the way

of Leroy Sané’s comeback!

The newcomer completed a complete training session with the team of FC Bayern for the first time since his capsule injury in the knee on Thursday.

The international had injured himself at the end of September and has to take a break. At the next Bundesliga game on Saturday against Eintracht Frankfurt, the 24-year-old, who came from Manchester City to Munich, could be back in the squad for the first time since the second day of the match.

As FC Bayern announced on its website, Sané made a good impression on his return to the team. In the morning he trained with the players who had not been in the starting eleven the day before in the Champions League 4-0 against Atlético Madrid. He took part again in “intensive sprints and games”.

After a short conversation with Bavaria’s head coach Hansi Flick, Sané also took a special shift and worked with assistant coach Miroslav Klose on his graduation. Because Serge Gnabry has been tested positive for Covid-19, Sané’s return to the FCB comes at just the right time – also because Douglas Costa is another winger according to Flick “at 100 percent”.

Unlike Sané, new arrival Tanguy Nianzou has to be patient. The young Frenchman continues to train individually after a thigh injury.
