Mesut Özil will be playing for FC Arsenal in the near future, especially in the Europa League. A colleague will keep him company.

Former world champion Mesut Özil seems to be able to cope with the next blow to the neck at the top English club FC Arsenal.

According to British media reports, the 31-year-old is not part of the Gunners’ 25-member squad for the Europa League group phase.

The official player list of the London Club had not yet been published on Wednesday evening after the closing date of the previous day at midnight.

Özil has a hard time, Socracy is also missing

Özil has had a tough time with Arsenal’s team manager Mikel Arteta for months – despite a personally good relationship. He made his last appearance for the former champion at the beginning of March before the Corona break. Since the end of June, Özil was no longer in Arteta’s line-up.

Nor was his teammate Sokratis taken into account.

The contracts of the two routines expire next summer. The club management has been wanting to give up the top earner of the team – Özil collects 350,000 pounds a week – for some time now, but these efforts have so far failed due to Özil’s rejection of an early change of club.
