The prospects for Sami Khedira at Juventus Turin are not getting any better. Andrea Pirlo is planning in the Champions League without the former World Champion.
Rio world champion Sami Khedira remains with Juventus Turin for the time being, but the Italian record champion has not registered him for the Champions League.
The list of professionals with whom coach Andrea Pirlo will start in the top class was published on Tuesday. Turin plays in group G against FC Barcelona, Dynamo Kiev and Ferencvaros Budapest.
Juve had failed in his efforts to separate from Khedira. The 33-year-old stubbornly opposed the termination of his contract until 2021 and will therefore remain in Turin at least until January. It is
unclear whether he will still have a future on the pitch under new coach Pirlo after another injury break. The ex-Stutttgarter had moved to Juve in 2015, and several times since then he has been thrown back injuries.
