At FC Bayern, there are still a number of personnel issues outstanding after the triple win. We gives an overview of the state of affairs.

While the triple heroes of FC Bayern are currently still on well-deserved vacation, the personnel plans for the coming season are running in the background.

There are still some questions to be answered. Chief Executive Officer Karl-Heinz Rummenigge now announced a movement with regard to personnel.

“With Thiago, it looks like he wants to leave us. We expect an offer these days,” Rummenigge told the world on Sunday. The 29-year-old midfielder’s path probably leads to Liverpool FC. The Bavarians are allegedly demanding 30 million euros in redemption. According to information, the Spaniard already agrees with the Reds.

Thiago’s departure wouldn’t be the only one this summer.

Goal:
Manuel Neuer is undisputed and set as a regular keeper. With Alexander Nübel, who came free from FC Schalke 04, the national goalkeeper got a new challenger. Naübel, however, will first have to stand in the back. According to Rummenigge, a loan to enable the 23-year-old to play regularly is “excluded”.

Defense:
David Alaba is firmly scheduled in his role as defense chief. In the negotiations for a new contract, a meeting between Alaba’s consultant Pini Zahavi and the Bavarian officials took place on the fringes of the Champions League tournament in Lisbon. The result: According to information, both sides want to extend the contract that expires in 2021 in the long term. So is Alaba.
