Bavaria’s triumph in Lisbon is decided by a former youth player from PSG. Accordingly, the international press is rushing to Kingsley Coman – and to Neymar.

Although the Champions League final was not the absolute treat, the international press pays tribute to FC Bayern.

The focus is on Kingsley Coman, who, as a former youth player of Paris Saint-Germain, destroyed the French ‘dream with his goal. “History is cruel,” writes the French sports newspaper L ‘Équipe.

The international press.

L’EQUIPE (France): History is cruel. It will always be remembered that a player from PSG youth wiped out the dreams of a first Champions League victory for Paris. The Parisian Kingsley Coman, who came to the PSG training centre as a young player at the age of nine in 2005, scored the only goal of the game after a flank by Kimmich with one of the first mistakes of the Parisian defence. With wet eyes and a depressed, absent, empty face, the Parisians had to watch the Germans explode with joy. The empty stadium echoed the joy and carried away the hopes of a conquered PSG.
