After the Liverpool fan mockery of Manchester City’s quarter-final exit against Olympique Lyon, Bernardo Silva shoots back – and has some advice to offer.
But someone is getting very frustrated:
Bernardo Silva has reacted to the mockery of Liverpool FC supporters with great irritation after the unexpected loss to Manchester City in the Champions League.
Speaking to the Reds fans who celebrated Liverpool City’s elimination in Saturday’s semi-final against Olympique Lyon (3-1), Silva said on Twitter: “To all those Liverpool fans who have nothing better to do than hang around on a Man City player’s account: I pity you.”
The Portuguese also called the behaviour of Liverpool fans “pathetic”.
Silva, who did not play Lyon in City, continued to rage: “Celebrate your titles, find a partner, have a beer with a friend, read a book! There are so many choices.”
