Unai Emery will be the new coach of the Spanish first division club FC Villarreal.
As the club announced on Thursday, the 48-year-old signed a contract for the next three seasons. Emery, a three-time European League winner with Sevilla FC, had previously been on the sidelines at FC Arsenal and Paris St. Germain.
Last week, Villarreal dismissed Javi Calleja (42) despite his successful qualification for the Europa League.
