Juan Muniz saves Deportivo Alavés from relegation in La Liga. Surprisingly, however, the coach has no future.
Spanish first division club Deportivo Alavés have surprisingly parted ways with their coach Juan Muniz.
The 51-year-old had only taken over from Asier Garitano on 5 July, saving the Basque club from relegation in the last four matches in La Liga. Alavés gave no reason for the separation on Tuesday.
Muniz had last coached Malaga FC, where he was dismissed in April 2019.
