The PSG plan for the Henkelpott

Paris St.-Germain has not played a match for four months, but Thomas Tuchel is still expected to win the Champions League. So PSG wants to get back in shape by the CL restart.

Since 2011 the investors from Qatar have been in charge at PSG.

Since then, the club has won a whopping 26 titles (seven championships, four cups, five league cups, seven Super Cups) thanks to the lavish investments from the Middle East – but the most important one is missing: the Champions League.

The Sheikh Club has not yet managed to secure the biggest cup in club football, and superstars such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé have not been able to change that.

Corona presents Tuchel and PSG with problems
All the greater is the pressure on coach Thomas Tuchel to finally bring the Henkelpott to Paris. The problem is that because the French league was cancelled in March because of Corona, the PSG stars are already a full four months out of competition – five by the time they open their Champions League campaign on 12 August.

On March 11th, Paris against Borussia Dortmund completed their last compulsory match to date.

Does the billion-strong team stumble completely cold into the so important CL quarter finals against sensational team Atalanta Bergamo?
