Despite a strict curfew, Pione Sisto travels by car from Vigo to his Danish homeland. He is now being asked to pay for this.
Attacker Pione Sisto of the Spanish first division team Celta Vigo was asked to pay for a violation of the national lockdown rules.
As several Spanish media unanimously report, the 25-year-old had driven more than 3,000 kilometres to his home country Denmark despite the strict curfew and now has to pay a record fine of 60,000 euros for this.
According to media reports, the winger had already travelled to Scandinavia on 27 March and did not return to Vigo until 6 May. There, however, the Danish international has not yet been able to take part in small group training again, as the results of his corona test are not yet available, according to the sports paper Marca.
The Spanish clubs have been working on the pitch again for a week and a half under strict hygiene regulations, and from Monday the training groups may be increased to ten people.
