The superstar of Tottenham Hotspur finishes his basic training in his native South Korea after three weeks. The striker is doing an excellent job.
South Korea’s star footballer Heung-Min Son has completed his three-week basic military training.
The national news agency Yonhap reported that he was honored for his shooting skills and other skills at the closing ceremony at a Marine training camp on the southern island of Jeju.
Son was among the five best of the 157 participants in the training. The 27-year-old striker from Tottenham Hotspur took advantage of the break in the English Premier League, forced by the Corona pandemic, to do the training.
Because he won the gold medal with his country in the 2018 Asian Games, Son was exempted from regular military service.
