The Premier League is preparing to return. At the beginning of June the league wants to start again. A decision will be made on Friday.

The soccer clubs of the English Premier League are striving for a resumption of play on June 8. This was reported by the British broadcaster BBC.

According to the report, at their next meeting on Friday, the clubs want to discuss how the remaining 92 games can be played. It is considered certain that the games will take place without an audience. The prerequisite for this is the approval of politicians and health experts.

According to the BBC, the goal is to complete the season by the end of July. For the league to resume on 8 June, clubs would therefore have to resume full training by 18 May at the latest.

Arsenal start training
Arsenal FC and Brighton & Hove Albion already opened their training grounds on Monday for individual units of the players.

According to the report, the video conference of the clubs on Friday will also discuss where the remaining matches will take place.

There has been speculation for some time that the matches will be played at a few selected, neutral venues – possibly not in stadiums but on training grounds.
