UEFA provides financial support to clubs in Europe. The total amount involved is 70 million euros.
The European Football Union (UEFA) is helping the clubs in the Corona crisis financially.
676 clubs are already receiving the agreed total of 70 million euros for the secondment of their players for the European Championship qualifiers and the Nations League – depending on the number of players secondhanded, the clubs will receive sums ranging from 3200 euros to 630,000 euros.
This was announced by UEFA after an Executive Committee meeting on Thursday.
“The clubs contribute with their players to the success of the national team competitions,” said UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin. “In these difficult times, it is our job to get the money to the clubs as soon as possible,” he said. A further 130 million euros will be distributed to the clubs that provide players at next year’s EURO.
