As football is taking a break due to the corona crisis, the stars of the sport are launching a special campaign. The most beautiful goals are to be named. Now Ronaldo reveals his.

During the compulsory break due to the spread of the corona virus, more and more footballers – current and former – pass the time with actions via social media.

This includes the two former world champions Diego Maradona and Ronaldo.

The Argentinian now asked the Brazilian in the social networks to betray his personal favourite goal.

Ronaldo chooses goal against Compostela
“El Fenomeno”, three times world footballer and 2002 world champion, scored a total of 293 goals in his career, including for FC Barcelona, Inter and AC Milan and Real Madrid. The current president of Real Valladolid was certainly spoilt for choice.

He finally decided to score against SD Compostela in the 1996/1997 season, and in the Barcleona jersey, the number 9 grabbed the ball just behind the centre line and left five opponents standing before sinking the ball into the box. He scored 47 goals in 49 matches for the Catalans this season, but the championship still went to Real Madrid.

Ronaldo also nominated three of his fellow countrymen to match him and give away their favourite goals. The names couldn’t be more eloquent: Pelé, Zico and Neymar are set to join in next.
