Arsenal wins scored game

FC Arsenal can win a goal-laden game against Everton. Manchester United win against the relegation team from Watford.

Arsenal FC have scored a home win. The Gunners beat Everton FC 3-2 (2-2).

The game started turbulently. Dominic Calvert-Lewin (1.) took the lead shortly after kick-off. Then Edward Nketiah (27.) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (33.) turned the result around, before Richarlisson (45.+4) drew again with a break whistle. On the second goal, keeper Bernd Leno looked extremely unhappy when he couldn’t parry the ball and had to watch it trundle over the goal line.

In the second half Arsenal started brilliantly. Aubameyang (46.) took the lead only 24 seconds after kick-off.

From then on, the hosts controlled the match much more confidently than in the first period. Everton was unable to make use of his few advances. Leno (72.) made up for his mistake, parried once absolutely world class and thus secured victory.

Carlo Ancelotti is ranked 11th with his toffees and Mikel Arteta climbs to ninth place with the gunners. (Premier League table)

Fernandes celebrates goal debut at United’s home win
The Red Devils defeated FC Watford 3-0 (1-0) and climbed into the international ranks in the table. The relegation candidate could not radiate enough danger to prevent United from winning at home. (Read the game in the ticker)

Winter newcomer Bruno Fernandes, who came from Sporting Lisbon, took United from the point into the lead. Fernandes (42nd) skillfully threw Ben Foster out and converted safely. It was the Portuguese’s first goal in the Manchester United jersey.
