VfL Wolfsburg has thoroughly spoiled the carnival party for 1 FSV Mainz 05 and has set up an overtaking manoeuvre in the Bundesliga.
The Wolves defeated Rheinhessen in a well-deserved 4-0 (2-0) win and, with their third win in a week, they stalked FC Schalke 04, who are in last place in the European Cup, to two points.

While their rivals failed at the weekend, coach Oliver Glasner’s team increased their small winning streak to ten points from the last four league games.
