Steven Zuber will continue to play for Hoffenheim in the future. The Swiss extends his contract with TSG by three years. Sports director Alexander Rosen praises him.

Steven Zuber remains loyal to TSG Hoffenheim.

The Swiss international extended his contract with the Bundesliga club by three years until June 2023. 28-year-old midfielder has already been playing in the Kraichgau for six years.

TSG sports director Alexander Rosen praised Zuber above all for his “outstanding and exemplary attitude, which he shows day after day on and off the pitch”.

“Moreover, in today’s fast-moving football business it is no longer a matter of course that a player should commit himself to a club for such a long period of time, especially since Steven’s injuries have meant that he has not always been able to keep going uphill”, Rosen explained.

Zuber hopes for EM-ticket
Zuber, whose main goal is to participate in the upcoming European Championship, has so far completed 84 Bundesliga appearances (seven goals) for TSG.

In addition, he has played five Champions League matches (one goal), four European League games and ten DFB Cup appearances. He has worn the national jersey for Switzerland 23 times, scoring six goals in the process.
