The performance explosion of Bavaria’s summer newcomer Philippe Coutinho (27) has yet to happen. But one of Europe’s top clubs seems not to be deterred by this: FC Liverpool!
As the British “Express” reports, the Klopp club can imagine bringing the Brazilian back. The midfielder had already played for the Reds from 2013 to 2018, from where he moved to FC Barcelona.
According to SPORT BILD-Infos, the Bavarians can draw a purchase option for 120 million euros for Coutinho, who is on loan from Barça until the end of the season, until mid-May. Spanish media, however, are certain that the club management has already decided internally to accept offers of between 80 and 90 million euros.
But Coutinho is not to be at the top of the Liverpool wish list – Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz (20) is!
This exceptional talent is currently much sought-after in Europe. It has long been no secret that the Bavarians, among others, are keen to sign him. A change was already an issue last summer. In the end Havertz decided to stay with Bayer.
