Ismail Jakobs of the Bundesliga club 1 FC Köln apparently has chances for an early appointment to the national team of Senegal. This was reported by the Express and the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger on Tuesday.
According to these reports, the association with selection coach Aliou Cisse is trying to find the 20-year-old. Jakobs himself is said to have already expressed his interest in playing for his father’s home country.
In the team around star striker Sadio Mane of FC Liverpool, he expects better chances than at the German Soccer Association (DFB). Born in Cologne, he is particularly good on the left flank, making his Bundesliga debut with FC in November.
