Roberto Firmino (28) was THE match winner against Tottenham Hotspur, but the Brazilian apologised immediately to Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp (52) after the 1-0 win. Why? Klopp clarified the situation.

“When I went to him and wanted to hug him after the match, he wanted to stop and talk first,” Klopp said. “He said: ‘I know, I should have scored more goals.’ It was absolutely not what I wanted to say!”

He continues: “It is probably true. He should have hit it the first chance he got.” Instead Firmino scored his goal just before halftime (37th minute). For Klopp the subject was over. “He is a great player, great. I’m not saying this for the first time and hopefully I won’t say it for the last time. He’s quite impressive.”
