Since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from Real Madrid for Juventus Turin, however, the Spanish top flight duel has not been the same, at least according to Lionel Messi.
“Of course the games against Cristiano were always special. It was all the more special when you consider what these games mean. But those times are behind us and things continue. It is what it is,” the Catalan superstar told DAZN Italia.
