Spanish football record champions Real Madrid travel to the Supercopa in Saudi Arabia without their two star players Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.
According to the Royal Family on Monday, Benzema suffers from a muscle injury in his left thigh. Bale has contracted an infection of the upper respiratory tract.
In the semi-finals of the Supercopa, Real will face FC Valencia on Wednesday (20:00).
The second player in the final (12 January) will be determined in the match between defending champions and Supercopa record winners FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid on Thursday (20:00 hrs).
